Policies

After your quote request has been received- I will contact you to confirm availability, pricing, or any additional details. Due to the nature of custom products (time spent planning and ordering specific materials), all quote requests and orders must be confirmed at least 2 weeks in advance. If an order is needed in less than 2 weeks and I have open availability, there will be an additional rush order fee of $20. Rush orders are required to be paid in full at time of booking.

To secure your order and pickup/delivery date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order.  The remaining balance is due 1 week before pickup or delivery. Deposits will only be accepted from customers whose requests have been approved and have agreed to the policies listed on this page.  A secure payment portal is available, accepting all major credit/debit cards. I also accept Cash and PayPal.

All orders are pick-up unless other arrangements have been made. Pick-up or delivery (including contactless) is available Thursday through Sunday. My delivery fee is $20 + mileage. If you are interested in delivery, please provide the delivery address in the quote request form to have those fees included in your quote.  

Products become the buyer (you or your designated party) responsibility upon possession. Sweet Alexia’s Bakehouse is not responsible for any damage that occurs during transportation (unless being delivered) or due to improper handling. All cakes will be stored in a cooler until pick-up/delivery to ensure safer transport. Please store them in the refrigerator until an hour or so before serving (depending on the climate) . Refrigerate any leftovers promptly. 

During transport, place items on a flat surface and out of direct sunlight. Please do not leave your cake sitting in the car while running errands, in a sunlit area, outside on a warm summer day, or near heated surfaces. It will melt! 

Due to extensive planning and attention to detail - all sales are final. A partial refund may be given if an error is discovered at the time of cutting (incorrect flavor). No refunds will be given for minor variations in design or color.
